People choose who they are constantly. All life is a choice.

People make what we call "choices" based on a set of predispositions, circumstances, and values systems. Most decisions arrived at are thusly the result of preexisting factors or absurd chance. As such, I would say it's very inappropriate to claim people simply choose to behave certain ways. "Free will" is a hedonistic fantasy.

If it makes your day to sh**t on a different user who is just stating his opinion - which is perfectly valid - and . A lot of democrats are going into this election that Biden has this safe in the bag, stating the opposite shouldn't be a crime. It's good some people go against this flow of this hive-minded forum.

If that's not your opinion, agree to disagree, but having these public condemnation threads - mostly over users that aren't popular - just isn't nice. Participating in that kind of culture makes you by definition HP.

Just to say, the opposite of "Biden doomerism" is a lot more frequent here. The mental gymnastics how every poll is sh**t etc. and how Biden is still doing fine is no less annoying than the doomerism.
