Welp looks like yancy may hold on by 1-6 votes.
Shows every vote counts.

GOP sweatin like a dog

I wonder if Simonds ended up winning by 1 vote, if Greedo would cry fraud. It's in line with his philosophy that it is because of voter fraud when a Democrat wins by a small number of votes.

LOL, good prediction.

Wait, isn't Greedo's gripe with the 2004 Washington race the fact that they did multiple recounts? But now he wants a second recount here? lol

Okay the difference with Washington 04 and HD-94 is

Yancy won the first count by 10 votes
Rossi won the first count by 250ish
Yancy lost the second count by 1 vote
Rossi won the second count by 40ish votes
Rossi then goes on to lose in the third count by 110ish votes

So the reason I want a recount is because the result changed in 04 the first 2 counts were the same.

In the Virginia it changed with yancy losing by 1 vote I think that when there is a recount that changes the actual result they should do a extra count.

There should have been a third count in Minnesota in 08 and a fourth count in Washington in 04.

That's a fair point. Honestly, in a race that is decided by a single vote, it wouldn't be surprising if the result changed each time you recounted. In something that close, even 99.99% counting precision wouldn't be enough to give a clear victor.

So it looks like we agree then that a third count would be good to sort out any errors there could be.

Actually my point was that in a race this close you'll never be completely sure of the victor no matter how many times you recount, as we just saw, lol.

The hackery in this thread is getting intense. All of you would be celebrating (or mourning in Greedo's case) if the exact same scenario happened in reverse and you know it, so stop whining.

You're comparing apples and oranges. We don't know what judgment the Virginia counters would've made on that Minnesota ballot from nearly a decade ago.

The ballot in HD 94 should have been discarded as an overvote but i digress. Republicans only know how to cheat in order to win. Even if simmons wins the coin toss which something tells me she will not Republicans will refuse to seat her and seat the incumbent.

The draw a name out of a bowl thing will only be a formality,  neither candidate will accept the outcome.

Soros needs to find that bowl pronto

I mean, the Soros conspiracies are hardly any dumber than all the Dem hacks here whining about rigged coin tosses and "theft" of a race that is essentially a statistical (if not exact) tie, lol. The mirror images of Greedo whining about Washington and Minnesota.

I mean it was a 50/50 andYancey won, Dems will take over the state in 2019 either way so who really cares.

Don't get why people are so upset / thrilled by this. The race was tied, they broke the tie by lot, the election is over. Dems gained massively and showed that they own Virginia now, and any fleeting R majorities there will be short-lived.

Also the fact that Republicans still had the state Senate anyway, so even if they won this it was still going to be divided government for 2 years.
