You can modify the HTML and make it look like anyone said anything. Don't even need to photoshop.

I wish the NYT would have needles for both Dems winning and both Reps winning.

So what non-political things are you guys doing tonight?

I’m playing Call of Duty right now.

Putting together my new elliptical trainer.

Not over yet but right now it's looking pretty good for Ossoff & Warnock.

Odds are 3 to 1 in favor of Warnock and 2 to 1 in favor of Ossof.

Will any major network call either of the races tonight?

Maybe not before midnight but I think in the wee hours yes.

2014 was a terrible year for Dems in the Senate. I don't think it's that surprising they would gain several seats even while losing House seats.

Kornacki is basically saying it's over in the Ossoff race but he can't.

NBC changed it's characterization of the Ossoff race from Too Close to Call to Too Close to Call with Ossoff leading, which means they think he'll win.

Why does CNN constantly refer to Perdue as the „Incumbent“ ?

He isn’t.

His term ended 3 days ago and he’s no longer a Senator.

I mean he was when the election first happened. He's trying to keep his seat. I think it's a reasonable way to think about it even if not technically true since Sunday.

Why does Gerogia do a jungle primary? Why not have a state party convention like other states? If they had done that, they might have won an outright majority back in November

Or a primary election in August

It's a better system than just straight First Past the Post. I keep hearing it was a way to avoid blacks winning if the white vote was split, but if you have normal primaries that would be avoided anyway so I don't get the logic there, even if that was the rationale for it.

It's a separate law that only applies to special elections.

I don't think so? The Ossoff-Perdue race is not a special election.

The Ossoff-Perdue race also isn't a jungle primary Wink

Oops. 😳
