No.  On average, homosexuals would have the same distribution curve as the general population in terms of political beliefs.  It is just that they vote Democrat because the Republicans are not actively trying to buy their votes like the Democrats are doing.

the way i look at it, it is the government that is denying gays their civil rights.

why should they be voting for the party that is a big believer in government?

so they should vote for the party of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell because it wants less social programs and that denies them their rights? huh?
Some of my rights are denied?  For real?  Which ones?!!!!  I wasn't aware straight people have rights I don't have.

Perhaps now, but a large portion of the Republican Party would gladly take those rights away.
They want to take marriage away?  And adoption?  Unlikely.
