My depression and anxiety seem to be worsening again.

I wish you the best, Ted.

This morning, I began drinking a glass of water and thank God I stopped!  I saw something in there and it was a piece of broken glass.

Another friend of mine got hit by a car (first one was a little over a year ago, he survived).  This friend will be fine too.  He has cerebral palsy and couldn’t get out of the the way in time.  He had surgery on his leg, but will be able to go home from the hospital soon, thankfully.

My friend was released from the hospital.  Thank God it wasn’t more serious.

I'll probably spend some time in Pierre in February to talk to state legislators about issues related to health care.

Grandma is still in the hospital and still doing better. She'll have to go to rehab to get her strength back and then she's staying for at least a month (hopefully permanently) at my aunts. She's been going through severe nicotine withdrawals in there, but she's going to give up smoking after a 50 year habit. She's breathing on her own and they've got her on antibiotics to clear up the pneumonia. I still can't believe how far from the edge she's come - a Christmas miracle for sure!

This of course means that I too will have to quit smoking. I'm waiting to after the New Year though, since she'll still be in some form of care until mid January.

Hope your grandma continues to get better!

My mother has been sick for a while.  Thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.

I'm so sorry.

My mother has been sick for a while.  Thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.

Both of you will be in my prayers, TDAS.

Thanks guys.  It looks like she's getter better.

My mom and I both think I might have fibromyalgia, but she is also sick and I have no access to transportation and our health insurance is kind of in limbo now.

ugh

You two will also be in my thoughts and prayers.

My biopsy results came in and it turns out that what was removed is indeed cancerous my doctor has scheduled surgery for next Thursday.

I wish the best for you. Sad

I'm not sure if anyone remembers me since I haven't been an active poster for 2 years, but I've moved to America! I made the move at the start of the month. I'll be here until the end of the year when my internship ends.

I now live in Brookline, Norfolk County, MA. Though I always say Boston if I'm asked.

Welcome to the US!

Not sure if I’ll stay here much longer, I’m having an existential crisis. I have no future and I have nothing to live for.

Your life is worth living.  Please get help.

My grandma is going to be receiving home hospice services. It could be weeks, it could be a year from now, we don’t really know.

Hopefully your grandma will be around longer, and I hope she's comfortable.  Best wishes.
