I can't argue too much with that list, but I would just like to shout out Michigan as an honorable mention. I know everyone first thinks about Detroit, but the Lake Michigan and Lake Huron coasts are outstandingly pretty, especially the sand dunes on the Lake Michigan shore. Of course the UP and Lake Superior coast is also unbelievably pretty too, right up there with almost any other part of the country.
