Not surprising. Trump is a better person than Bloomberg & is more liberal on issues on a personal level. Bloomberg is an oligarch who hates poor people & is racist to his bone.

Most Dem voters would stay home if this guy gets nominated. Bloomberg will get destroyed in the Industrial Midwest. As bad as Biden or Pete is, they are way better than Bloomberg. Can't wait to see Trump call out the Dems for nominating a racist.

Bloomberg is my last choice for the nomination, but your first paragraph is such complete bullsh**t it doesn't even warrant a snarky "citation needed".

Bloomberg is probably worse than Trump, more racist, more sexist & more of an oligarch. He treats women like scum.

If Trump was running on a D Ticket & was surrounded by Democratic politicians, he will 100% better than Bloomberg, far more liberal. Bloomberg, a racist & a sexist buying the nomination probably should be followed by a Trump 2nd Term, filling the Court with conservative judges so that Democrats don't even think of nominating a racist, sexist, evil oligarch.

Bloomberg has been sued by 40 women in 64 cases of sexual harassment. If that is who Democrats want to nominate, then they deserved to die as a party.

How do 40 women have 64 cases against him? Also aren't most billionaires sued by disgruntled people  trying to cash in.

Like Bezos' girlfriends brother

Wow. You truly are a horribly ignorant sexist..

No politics involved here. Your post just demonstrates a fundamental lack of character and real world comprehension.

Bloomberg, awful as he is, is not even remotely as bad as Trump nor are the two particularly similar.  I get that the Bernie camp is gonna be pushing this narrative as hard as they can and that makes sense from a strategic perspective, but it's also a load of BS.

The complacency of the center-left in this country never fails to astound me. Why do people keep trying to revive the "At least our guy is better than the other guy" argument? It has never worked; it failed miserably in 2016 and it will fail again because turnout among your base can only be increased by putting forth a positive argument for your candidate. If you hate Trump and everything he stands for, the way to excite the base and present a credible case against him is to contrast with him, not to capitulate to the style of politics he's created and to compromise all of your morals in exactly the same way Republicans have.

Jesus effing Christ, isn't this common sense?

Yeah, this is the primary argument I'm still open to the Bernie Bus. Still not convinced the positives outweigh the negatives, but not convinced to the contrary.

Nominating him is Trump's best chance at a second term.He might be the only candidate who could get less than 200 EV;s. This guy is a utter charisma vacuum. Not to mention the amount of baggage. The only thing he has going for him is money.

I would concur that basically the only thing he has going for him is money. But in the post citizens united world, not to mention considering the jaw dropping amount of money he has, is a little like saying, "other than that mrs. Lincoln how was the play?"

Bloomberg is the perfect foil for Bernie Sanders - allowing Bernie to play the underdog against the billionaire trying to buy the Democratic primary. Bloomberg is counterproductive for moderates in the Democratic Party and should have stuck to funding Dems down the ticket.

If Biden was smart, he would aggressively attack Bloomberg from the left on economic issues to portray himself as something more than "a moderate".

Despite binds vow to pass a public option, the Overton window of this campaign makes him seem like he's two steps to the right of trump

dropping out?

There's a good response from someone who identifies themselves as having retired a few years ago from a career in commercial TV, who explains that political ads can be, and often are, purchased at the last minute. While sometimes such last-minute buys have to come at an inflated premium to bump other previously paid customers, it's not like Bloomberg can't absorb that additional cost.

So while I would love nothing more, I caution against reading too much into it.

$560 million to come away with American Samoa. Thanks a lot for taking delegates away from Biden, Mike. If not for you we would have won California.

On the one hand everybody has a right to run for office. On the other hand, in terms of strategy and achieving goals, he ran to deny Sanders the nomination. And in fact he actually helped Sanders by draining away a strong chunk of would be Biden supporters.

So yeah, great job Mike
