Well usually when a politician (like santos) doesn’t want to answer questions they start running too, so they need to run if they want to ask questions

Depends on leadership. If they protect him, Santos is probably safe. If they tell members to "vote their conscience" Santos is gone. He has no friends or allies. He is considered a joke and a fruad to everyone. The only reason he was tolerated was because of the 4 seat majority

I suspect 212 Democrats vote to expel. You need 78 Republicans, about 35% of the caucus. You have 6 NY Republicans. Than another 12 republicans in Biden districts that will probably vote to expel.
