Morden, I spend about 35-40 hours a week on CADD, inside and outside the classroom.

Plenty of time left to earn a couple hundred a week at a part time job.  Have you no shame, man?

But then he'd have to miss out on the 10-20 hours per week he spends making love on children!

He needs to ease the burden on his family, even if they're making it without it, it would definitely ease the burden.  It's shameful not to help.

I agree, but unfortunately his commitments to making love on children and watching every single college and professional football game on TV every week seem to be more important to him than his parents' wellbeing.

No shame.  See my dialogue with Inks from last night for reasons why.

These ministries, a church website, bible study, and wednesday night don't bring in a dime.  Helping your family needs to be your first priority, not what you want to do.  And you still have more time than anyone I know to do absolutely nothing.

I remember the days I worked 6AM til 2PM at one job, then 9PM to 2AM at another job to make ends meet. You just do it........and forget about the volunteer bullsh**t.

It's true they don't bring in a dime, but the main thing they do is get me out of the house for the most part.  Because I have a history of fainting when I get going too hard for too long, it is risky to get a job and go to school.  As I told Inks last night, I even have to be careful with the ministries I take on.  I don't want anything to jeopardize my studies.  We've already talked about this as a family.  I've volunteered to get a job and help support them financially, but they said because of my fainting history to just focus on school at this time and limit my church involvement.  While no one argues that getting a job would be a good thing, with my history is could be counterproductive.

Taxes and benefits in Oklahoma are between 25-30% total.  I should still get $28,000-$30,000.  By the time I get an apartment, I will only have two bills left to pay off, my student loan and one credit card.  Let's assume I bring home $27,000.  That is still $2250 a month.  My rent shouldn't be any higher than $700 for a one bedroom apartment.  Utilities and cable should take that up to $1000.  Gas for the car should be $125 and food maybe $125.  I won't eat out all the time when I have my own apartment.  That is $1250 so far.  That still gives me room to put down $750 a month on my bills and still have $200-$250 left over each month.  I'll find a way.  It may be 2016 when I get it paid off, but it will be paid off.

2 cheezburger meals a day($5) + some snacks ($2-3) * 30 = $360 a month. You are also forgetting your car insurance bill.

Mom has one, Dad has one, and I have one.  Nothing excessive or unusual.

Bushie is caught in an exploitative economic system in common with the rest of us, but that doesn't mean that he's poor within the context of that system or that none of his problems are his fault. Most of them clearly are to anybody who's been paying attention. Misapplying the relevant concepts of oppression to his case is insulting to people who actually are victims in the way that opebo is talking about and frankly to the concepts themselves.

Bushie's not poor.  He's a parasite of a fairly well off Oklahoma family.

This will make Duke happy:

Don't bring this out on Facebook, at all, but I am starting to talk to a lady from Stillwater.  Her name is Allison and she has a degree in hotel and restaurant management.  She also goes to a Baptist Church, so that part is good.  We have just started talking, so its too early to see if this will go anywhere, but the few signs we have so far is positive.  She is 27.  I don't know much more than that right now, but anyway, that's a new development.

Will Bushie and Allison be able to teach their baby how to walk considering he will never see it happen as a point of reference?

Will Bushie Jr. be an outdoor child like Blondie?

Will Allison be open to loving on Bushie Jr. as foreplay?

Find out in Update Season XI.

Real good sleuthing Inks. Real good.

It'd be easier if he'd just admit what actually happened.  I have a few theories:

1. He bought the tickets for one of his honeymoons and then didn't want to go by himself and didn't have anyone else to take with him once the engagement ended.
2. He forgot that he bought the tickets.
3. He was just too lazy to take the trip.
4. Some health issue came up.
5. He learned there would be scantily clad women on board and knew that there would end up being seagull crap on the deck after he briefly relaxed.

if you're Bushie's friend on Facebook I highly recommend searching for an Allison from Stillwater on his friends list.

God I can't wait for the tedium of Bushie's non-diet and his CAD scam to give way to a return to Update's roots with this new romance.

She can be found even by those not on Bushie's friend list. Not gonna link because that'd be too creepy for me , but her most recent post is a cute kitten picture =^-^=
