The football gods are with the Titans tonight. Smiley

(Their game-winning FG attempt with no time left hit the right upright, but bounced through.)

Not to jinx it, but if Washington wins tonight then nclib will achieve the first and only perfect week of the season.

Today marked the most touchdowns ever scored in one afternoon on NFL RedZone, with 96 (the previous record was 85).  Of course, part of that is that, being Week 17, there were 15 afternoon games.

Also of note was that Derrick Henry became the 8th player in NFL history to rush for 2000 yards in one season.

This SNF game would have been so much more exciting as a winner-take-all game (if the Eagles had beaten the Cowboys last week) than as a "one team needs to win, while a third team is hoping they falter" game.

Rams v Browns Superbowl would be nice Baker Mayfield and LeBron are friends Bd LeBron is rooting for that matchup, hopefully it happens.

Chiefs had a weak schedule, they didn't play Ravens or Steelers, that's why they lost today to Chargers

Go Superbowl Rams whom made it Superbowl in 2018

Larry Fitzgerald is retiring. In my mind he is the GOAT wide receiver.

Bills defeat Colts

Seahawks defeat Rams

Buccaneers defeat Washington (I'll be surprised if this game is within three scores)

Ravens defeat Titans

Bears defeat Saints

Steelers defeat Browns

WEEK 17 RESULTS

A very impressive performance by nclib, who ran the table at 16-0 and won the week by a 3-game margin.  Full results:

16 nclib
13 ExtremeRepublican, fluffypanther19, GeorgiaModerate, Politics Fan, S019
12 dfw, Donerail, Grumpy, Illiniwek, NY Express
11 JGibson, olawakandi, TexasGurl

There were 3 unanimous picks, all correct:

Ravens-Bengals
Colts-Jaguars
Saints-Panthers

And 5 games with a single dissenter (the dissenter was wrong in all of them):

Vikings-Lions
Bucs-Falcons (no, it wasn't me)
Packers-Bears
Seahawks-49ers
Titans-Texans

Overall, dfw maintained his one-game lead, but it's anybody's race going into the playoffs.  Year to date (256 games):

173 dfw
172 ExtremeRepublican, Grumpy
169 Donerail, nclib, S019
168 TexasGurl
167 GeorgiaModerate, JGibson

On top of that, the fact that the Eagles pulled their better QB when they still could have won the game, was an extreme dick move.

Wild Card Round

Saturday, January 9th
Indianapolis @ Buffalo
LA Rams @ Seattle
Tampa Bay @ Washington

Sunday, January 10th
Baltimore @ Tennessee
Chicago @ New Orleans
Cleveland @ Pittsburgh

Very annoying that the Bucs are playing on Saturday and not Sunday, which means Devin White will miss this game because of the league's COVID rules (contrast Alvin Kamara, who will be back for the Saints but wouldn't be if the game was on Saturday). It's also one day less for Mike Evans to heal up.

Yep.  It almost happened in Week 2, when two people were 15-0 going into the Monday night game.  But they both picked the Saints, who lost to the Raiders.

Seahawks over Rams
Bucs over WFT
Titans over Ravens
Saints over Bears
Steelers over Browns

Bold prediction: One of these games goes to OT.
