I am happy we could turn this into a broader amendment to raise the standards of participation.

Should we do something about absentee voting while we're at it?

     You mean eliminate the absentee booths & just have the regular booth open longer? I see no reason not to address that here.

Would anyone else like to deal with that? I'm not really sure how to go about making those changes. I can just delete my last post and combine it into one big change to the amendment.

Are non-senators allowed to post here?

Anyway, I just wanted to suggest that it'd probably be a good idea to give the absentee voting it's own amendment/law since there will (most likely) be trouble making the other part  pass, and there's no reason why this change shouldn't pass just because the other part fails.
