I just got back from voting, pretty much all the standard 'Progress Texas' voting guide positions on the big state-wide stuff. I voted against a new 83m police HQ (our current one is really damn nice!) and against a nearly 170m 'Adult Rehabilitation & Detention' bond that was phrased in a very punitive way and for which I absolutely do not trust my local GOP, who is the majority in my county, to run ethically.
Voted in the affirmative for all the other bonds, including 5m for a new animal shelter, of course.
