He is the kind of Republican that has made the GOP less moderate.  It's the EISENHOWER GOP that America needs right now. 

(BTW, the only candidate that has invoked Eisenhower in the last 20 years is Donald Trump.)

I wouldn't saying shilling out more and more for the military budget is exactly invoking Eisenhower... :/
Fuzzy has a point, in that Trump's more downmarket branding of the party and other facets of his policies do have some Eisenhower in them.

but even if one buys the idea it is just branding - surely to have branding influnced by someone you need to invoke them, intentionally or unintentionally?
