The epitome of modern nihilistic conservatism.  HP.

Also, registering after the 2018 midterms and picking your display name after a defeated senator is lol.

Hilarious poster. I’m becoming more and more convinced that he’s actually parodying Atlas #analysis (like when he said that "2018" "proves" that AZ is now 10%+ more Republican than WI or that NV is Tilt R).

Or at least... I hope so.

NV being Tilt R is definitely a joke, while I don't believe it's Safe D either (like say Colorado is), I'm also not stupid enough to think it's more likely to vote Republican than Wisconsin or something like that. It could go red in 2020, but if it does Trump is already winning by a ton and has probably picked up MN and NH. My serious current state ratings are something like this:

Colorado: Safe D

Virginia: Safe D

Nevada: Likely D

PA: Lean/Likely D

MI: Lean/Likely D

TX: Likely R

GA: Lean R

NC: Lean/Likely R

FL: Tilt R

NH: Likely D

MN: Likely D

AZ: Pure Tossup

WI: Pure Tossup

IA: Likely R

Ohio: Likely R

Also, I think you misunderstood me on AZ vs Wisconsin. My point was never that Arizona will be 10 points to the right of WI in 2020 (that would be inane), but more that saying AZ will automatically vote to the left of WI because of trends is kinda ridiculous. I'd probably give 70-30 odds AZ is to the right of WI.

The display name is from someone saying I was Dean Heller's alt, which I found funny.

Can be a bit of a blowhard at times. Other than that, certainly not "the worst poster on the right" like I previously thought.

They may not be a typical Trumpist, but they are just as deluded and out-of-touch.

NV is a working class state, but also has a lot of Latinos which should mostly cancel each other out long term. Heller lost by 5, while the national PV margin was at 8.5, which does not suggest that NV is super safe D. NM is similar in terms of a giant and growing Latino population, but a lot of working class voters as well. NV and NM are not bringing in lots of creative class types like TX,GA,NC and VA.

Fine. Just wish he'd consolidate more posts instead of having like 4 posts in a row in a thread.

It’s always a refreshing reminder that in amongst the disgusting 'lock up the brown kids in cages' and 'presidential crimes aren’t crimes because of the reasons’ contingent of the modern Trumpian GOP is still a healthy strand of old-school 'screw the poor, I got mine'.

I know you mean this in a bad way, but I appreciate your saying that. I do sometimes worry that the GOP is moving from the real fiscal-social fusion conservatism that makes us great. However, I'm certainly no proponent of "screw the poor," I just believe that it's wrong to steal other people's money, especially to pay for ineffective and wasteful handout programs (doubly so due to the economic consequences of doing so, which fall especially hard on the poor. See: Baltimore).

If I said it myself, I'd be muted again, so instead I'll let sitcoms do the talking for me.

Yeah.  That was in a thread about the most "out there" posters where actual Nazis, pedophiles, and registered sex offenders were being mentioned and he was hurt about not being mentioned among those people for some reason...
