The guy was given important speaking slots at the DNC more than once, he was elected to governor by massive margins even by NY standards, his Covid-press conferences got aired by major national networks in 2020, people speculated that he might be a VP choice for a Dem candidate

He was a Dem golden boy until Liticia James' harassment probe

The only "golden boy" for Democrats during the 2010s was President Barack Obama.

Cuomo was given national press conferences during COVID because New York State was a major epicenter for COVID and NYC is the most populated city in the country.

He spoke at DNCs in the past to due his role as Governor of NY (the second most populated Democratic state) and previously from his time as HUD Secretary under Bill Clinton.

The fact that Andrew Cuomo was once popular in the Democratic Party does not mean that Democarts believe he is automatically correct in everything he says (either in the past or now), nor does it mean that Democrats should agree with him about this case, nor does it mean that Democrats are somehow owned if they happen to disagree with him.

New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan rejected a request by several media organizations, including CNN, for permission to broadcast the historic proceedings.

Five still photographers will be allowed to take pictures of Trump and the courtroom before the hearing begins, however.

Trump’s arraignment – like most arraignments in the Manhattan courthouse – is a public proceeding, but news cameras are not usually allowed to broadcast from inside the courtroom.

Your “opinion” is wrong. The judge made the decision because NY has a law that bans video-taping court proceedings involving testimony. It’s why court TV never broadcasts NY court cases
