Does the fact that Oz still did much better than Mastriano mean there's a lot of voters who don't care if a candidate denies the 2020 election as long as they weren't at the 1/6 rally? Or is there something else I'm missing?

Mastriano was basically the guy who was your crazy, probably racist uncle that shouts conspiracy theories at Thanksgiving. Oz, while problematic in other ways, was not that.

Oz also had a higher floor because he was running for Senate and not for Governor.

Oz should have waited until 2024 to run against the odious Menendez. Oz is a Muslim, NJGOP are more palatable to suburban Arab Americans.......a lot of Arabs live in places like Bergen, etc. where they have good incomes.

Oz is a fool. Should have ran against Menendez in 2024 in NJ----he could have been the first Republican since Clifford Case to win...what a fool.

Not just posting to social media, but at least releasing a statement too. We've now seen it from multiple people from Laxalt to Mastriano. No reason why he can't release a statement or post to social.

Like it’s very easy to see someone going in and voting for Shapiro and being like “screw it I hate Dr. Oz too who cares if Fetterman is too far left for me”.
