It must have been exhausting considering it's nap time for you right now.

LOL, I gave up on the nap for today.  My neck is bothering me and it was painful trying to take a nap.  Oh well, I'm done complaining about that.  So many people have it a lot worse than a crick in the neck.

Have you made any attempts to get a job? I found out that the exemption from income tax on mortgage forgiveness was extended through 2013 as part of the fiscal cliff deal, so you should be in the clear on that count.

my guess is that bushie probably suffers from sleep apnea.  if so, he is probably constantly tired.

not to mention, it takes a lot of energy to carry a lot of extra weight around.

I do suffer from some sort of sleep apnea.  I am quite tired most of the time.  It probably explains why I have a bad habit of taking a lot of leave early on in a job just so I can sleep a little while longer.

Are you dozing off in the middle of the job day?  Most with apnea do.

Occasionally, yes.  I never actually doze off, but I get really groggy that I have to get home before I drop and while I can still drive.

You should use real Lard (and/or Beef Tallow).

Lard is the most delicious.  Beef Tallow's just preferable for frying French Fries.

Yes, but you don't weight 300 and have health issues from it.

Why not Canola? Don't worry about getting olive oil, which is overhyped. Canola is cheap and as good for you as oil can be.

Dumb question: what does one do with crisco? I've seen at the store, and I understand that it is some sort of saturated fat that one would use to make pie crusts or cookies or so on. But that's not cooking in the sense of making dinner.

Sure, you just plop it in the frying pan and it melts wonderfully.  I won't even get into its other uses... ask Torie about that.

Bleh. Fried foods are so brown and greasy. Can't even imagine frying in a solid fat. Pretty certain that, one way or another, my digestive tract would physically reject it.

People still cook with crisco? Eek! At least switch to olive oil, which is actually a good kind of fat for you to eat.

Olive Oil is expensive though. Canola is a better option for many.

We don't cook with any oil that often.  When we do, it is usually Crisco, I think, but I will mention Canola oil.  It does seem like it would be slightly less threatening and less damaging than Crisco or Lard.
