This poll is obviously pretty useless since it doesn't take into account differences within countries.

That being said I would say Asia(Especially East Asia) is the most racist continent at the moment.

Japan is quite xenophobic especially towards other Asian groups like Chinese and Koreans, has an overly restrictive and prohibitive immigration/citizenship policy. Hasn't apologized for pre-WWII colonialism and atrocities in countries like China. From what I understand it's still pretty much fine and social/legally acceptable to discriminate against someone based on their ethnic origins in Japan.

Korea-Attitudes and behavior quite hostile towards non-natives, for example I was reading about how a person of Arab descent visiting the country was spit on and attacked on a train due to this background. Additionally I've heard of pretty serious acts of discrimination in Korea against blacks and others also in the country, both officially and non-officially. North Korea frequently employs racial/ethnic undertones to it's propaganda and rhetoric.

PRC-See Korea, intolerance and de facto ethnic cleansing aimed at non-Han Chinese.

India-See Caste System,  intolerance(sometimes with violence) by conservative Hindus towards non-Hindus like Muslims/Sikhs.

I've read and heard of a few other examples also.

First of all the caste system isn't racism, it's classism. But if we are talking about general bigotry then you have a good point.

Also Sikhs vote for the conservative Hindus (BJP and the Akali Dal which is a BJP ally), so you are hilariously wrong there. Don't forget what party Indira Gandhi was in and how much of a dirty socialist she was. I know you don't know any better but seriously...

I've always thought there was considerable tensions between Hindus and Sikhs.

So I'm wrong, it's not like Indian politics/ethnic relations is particularly easy to comprehend anyways.

Eastern Europe + Russia of course! Why these nations are even considered European is beyond me at this point, the Slavs share few characteristics with the Europes outside of Christianity.

This post is ironic, yes?

Irony? Nein!

I do seem to remember ag lecturing me once about why Russia/most of eastern Europe should never be considered a part of the "western" world culturally and after some reflection I realized that Russia/it's own neighbors should be considered a part of its own sphere. I won't lie though, after I did some light reading on modern Russian racism, I have a little disdain for their culture. Call me crazy but I tend to dislike cultures that persecute browns for personal reasons.

Of course Russia has had problems with other cultures before, since proceeding the Brown's in their hatred was the Jews, others, etc.
