Hillary is only carrying beautiful Muncie (Delaware County) by 8%. Anderson is 12% Clinton lead, Kokomo 14%.

Nashville is home to an arts colony with heavy connections to Indiana U, I believe.

I'm hoping for another MO. That's probably a once in an election cycle type of thing though.

Obama wins Elkhart County 59-41 with 96% in. And the margin is down to ten points.

Could this mean good results in the rest of "the Region" or is it just a fluke?

If a per capita income of $20,250 is bourgeois, I almost want to move to Indiana!

Yeah, Elkhart should have been a Clinton county, at least narrowly, not an 18-point Obama win.

Elkhart County is not bourgeois.  There's no entirely bourgeois county in northern Indiana.  Obama supporters should not get too excited, but they're entitled to get excited.  This bodes well for a Lake County landslide, I'd think.

By the way, Elkhart County is Goshen, not Elkhart, for those furiously Wikipedia-ing.

Evansville plus 6% for Clinton. That might be about what the state margin is, although I think it might be half that at the end, now. I would be interested in seeing what happens in South Bend.

Muncie down to plus 4% Clinton.  Clinton is getting her margins in rural counties in general, but not getting margins she got in Ohio and Pennsylvania in white working class industrial towns (Terre Haute was the best for her, with an 18% margin), and Obama seems to be doing better in carriage trade precincts.

Statewide, she is down to a mere 10 point lead with half the vote in, but nothing in from Chicagoland or from South Bend.

Clinton down to +4 in Vanderburgh, a result that Sam or Al is going to have to explain to me in the morning.

And a gigantic LOL at the Clinton-supporters/Republicans that said that Clinton would do better in Indiana than Obama would in North Carolina.

CBS shouldn't have called it yet, although Clinton is definitely favored.

Barone tells me that Elkhart is bourgeoise and GOP in his little book, so there. I notice it has the highest median income in Northern Indiana after Porter County.

Clinton is down to a single-digit lead 54-46 with still nothing from Northwest Indiana.  Good night for Clinton?  Yeah, and Huckabee is the GOP nominee.
