I like how angry he makes LYIN' Steve and other supposedly anti-PC type people, but otherwise I couldn't care less about the guy and I don't really pay attention to sportsball.

FF just because he pisses off the Facebook whinosperhe of Ted Cruz supporting grannies.

But he encourages the equally repulsive cadre of faux-leftists that use Facebook "shares" as a substitute for thought. It's no wonder droning increased during the Obama Era.

HP -  Ungrateful, no brain athlete who wouldn't be worth 100$ if it wasn't for the country he protests against.

I wish Ray Lewis was still playing and laying licks Tongue

But I don't expect anything from those people. I do expect the aforementioned demographic of anti-PC/"Constitutional Conservatives" to realize that right-wing political correctness is no different than left-wing political correctness. If they should be allowed to call a transwoman a "tranny" then Kaepernick should be able to set a flag on fire and then piss it out.

Of course, this is all, as George Carlin said, symbolism, and he always left symbols for the symbol-minded.

I accidentally said FF, but seeing this poll shows the members of this site to be well out of touch with ordinary Americans.

Mild FF. He has the right to protest the way he sees fit, and he obviously disagrees with the nation's handling of racial matters, that is why he is protesting. However, he did not vote in the 2016 election, and with that, probably becomes less relevant by the day. He didn't vote, so he has no say in the affairs of the nation because he did not contribute to a vote. He is a good man, in my opinion, but he looks hypocritical.

He better play well; the Niners are 1-7 or something like that. If not, they'll put back Blaine Gabbert at that role, and he isn't all that great either.

Annoyingly obnoxious. His views on the 2016 Election are what does me in. The stupid kneeling for the National Anthem was just a plea for attention, therefore I don't care. HP.

Horrible QB, but FF for standing up for what he believes in and making people lose their sh*t over it.

I thought he was an asshole at first, but the hilarious and hypocritical reaction of the "anti PC" crowd to his free speech is making me vote FF. The more they reacted, the more I came to begrudgingly respect him. Now I'm actually glad he did do it.

I don't give a crap about football, so his competence as a QB or whatever the hell he is doesn't really matter much in my vote. Maybe he sucks and this is just a career stunt. Who knows? I don't really care. FF.

I enjoyed how much he drove the "anti-PC" crowd nuts, but after hearing about him not voting, I just think he's stupid.

He has a constitutional right to do what he did, but he's still an ungrateful HP.

Lmfao. So a person who sits down while a song plays is considered "garbage" now? Jesus Christ.

He wants attention. That's like 90% of why he is doing this. How does this actually solve any problems?

Jeane Kirkpatrick's "Blame America First" has never been more true about progressives.

He didn't brag about it though. He just quietly didn't stand.

Also FF for his protest of police brutality, and lol about the anti-pc crowd being so sensitive about it.
