The only Batman movie I've ever seen is the old 1960s classic.  That's the only one I'll probably ever watch.

Yeah, it was on TBS last night. I caught the end. It's embarrassing when you compare it to The Dark Knight. I understand taking a different approach to it but that one was even more goofy than my beloved Adam West Batman.

Night Shift

Classic early 80s comedy starring The Fonz and Beetlejuice. I'm sure Naso's a fan.

My girlfriend and I are going on a double date this Friday to see Fly Me to the Moon.  Its just a simple animated G-rated movie (something my generation won't even touch), only 95 minutes long, but we're looking forward to it.  Its in Dolby-Digital 3D.

No offense, but...it looks pretty awful.  And this is coming from someone who can appreciate "children's" movies.  The only reason I'd even consider seeing it is that this guy (?) is in it:

Tell me how it is, though.

It makes Adam West's Batman look like Hamlet.

Rainman

very well acted but overlong and a somewhat cliched message.

Watched the classic "Kindergarden Cop" (1991) with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
SPOILER:

The only part that bugs me is at the end when he quit his job as a cop in the LAPD and stayed a Kindergarden teacher. Sad

This just caught my eye. YES! I rented the DVD back in 2004 and it was a classic, no doubt.

Journey to the Center of the Earth

Brendan Fraser (Trevor), Josh Hutcherson (Shawn), and Anita Briem (Hannah)

A great fantasy/sci fi/action film in Dolby Digital 3D.

Rated PG, though could scare young kids, about 1:40 in length.

I highly recommend the movie.

Entertaining.  Tom Cruise sure has come a long way from Risky Business.

Chances are not that good that I have, as I rarely watch movies.  I'm more of a current events/live television type of guy.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

I enjoyed it. It's certainly better than Episodes 1 and 2, and probably no worse than 3 and 6. Doesn't compare to 4 or 5, obviously, but what are you going to do. I think the TV series is going to be solid.

The Dark Knight

I finally saw it and I thought it was brilliant. Despite seeing it in a mainstream cinema, when I wanted it to see it at my local arthouse theatre. However,  seeing The Dark Knight at the mainstream cinema didn't change my opinion of the film.

Heath Ledger as the Joker and Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent were superb in their respective roles. In my personal opinion, The Dark Knight, without those two pivotal actors, in those roles wouldn't have been as good as it was, despite The Dark Knight starring, Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman Wink

Vicky Christina Barcelona.  I give it an A.  I would jump on the "Woody's back" bandwagon, but I thought he was back with Matchpoint.

So I take it you didn't like Cassandra's Dream?

I lost interest with Cassandra's Dream halfway through, and thought it dragged.  I did like Scoop, though.

My favorite films of his are the same ones that everyone else likes...though my personal favorite would have to be Love and Death.
