A chick flick?

An Adam Sandler movie?

I'll just assume you were under duress.

I am married dude. Tongue But regardless, it is a good film, for a 'chick flick'.

Evan Almighty
Insubstantial but watchable (largely thanks to Steve Carell).

Do they mention "Bruce" at all in it?

No, the storyline is independent of the first Almighty film.

Well, not the first ten minutes.

Correct; you have your bad taste and others have better taste.

BRTD has the worst taste in movies.

"3:10 to Yuma"

It was pretty good, especially for a modern Western (which are few and far between).  The intro was a little light, and the ending was a bit abrupt, but over all, the action and story development was very good.  Hopefully this will trigger a few more Westerns.

It didn't have any annoying modern rock songs playing in it, did it?

3:10 to Yuma was solid, if not spectacular. Russell Crowe was great as always.

Yep, Master and Commander rocked.

I watched the remake of Dawn of the Dead last week. It was okay.

Way inferior to the original.

I wasn't aware that they made a film adaptation. That must be strange...

Made in 1972. They showed it on Sundance channel.

Sahara. Talk about a movie that looked promising then went COMPLETELY off topic. At least in the last 15 minutes of the movie they got back on topic and wrapped it all up!

Talky? Yeah that sounds intelligent and sophisticated.

The acting and writing in that movie were stellar. My biggest issue was just getting over an ugly Charlize Theron. It doesn't help she's also basically my #1 celebrity crush currently (mind you, this changes very frequently.)

Considering the source I'll take that as a compliment. Sorry, but that movie was way to long and drawn out, they probably could have cut out about 45 minutes of it and it would have improved a bit more. And that's unusual for me because I usually say that most movies need MORE time to get the point across. I fell asleep halfway through when the movie became totally predictable. Definitely needed more action.

Quarantine. Pretty stupid and a complete rip on several levels, but it was, nevertheless, entertaining to watch.

How was it entertaining? I guess it would have been because it was close to becoming the first movie I walked out on.
