I just got back from No Country for Old Men.

My god.  That was the tensest movie I've ever seen.  I'm still not sure what even happened at the end.  I'm going to have to think about it for a few days.
Carla Jean got killed.

Well I know that.  I mean just in terms of the the killer walking away and the sheriff having that dream.  It was a very abrupt ending.

SPOILER ALERT: DON'T READ THE ONE POINT FONT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW THE END

The Bourne Ultimatum.

Good to end the series, but a p[retty useless movie, especially compared to the other two.

Well she was shot dead in the book by Chigurh. But we don't one whether she was killed in the film, though one can only assume.

I must see No Country for Old Men again. And now I can see it on my own Grin

Vantage Point. It was decent, though I wouldn't buy the DVD.

Saturday night, I watched "The Apartment" (1960) starring Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine. Good film.

I just finished watching "Dressed to Kill" (1980) starring Michael Caine, Nancy Allen, Angie Dickinson and Dennis Franz. Good early 80s thriller...Nancy Allen is the ideal early 80s chick in this movie...even though she plays a hooker...

What a face...if only those styles could come back. Hey...the 70s are back somewhat...maybe the 2010s will bring back the 80s!

I wasn't aware that they made a film adaptation. That must be strange...

The Last King of Scotland

Pretty good movie, Whittaker was great.

Whittaker was scary... so yeah. It's strange how optimistic economics combined with Stalinist terror. For much of the time since, Africa has seen weak or absent governments combined with economic stagnation or retreat.

Zodiac.

It would've been a lot better if Fincher didn't get a little too full of himself and make it a LOT longer than it needed to be.

I watched it a couple of weeks ago (instead of reading the book for English. . .senioritis anyone?) and found it to be really good.
