Slight correction/refinement - he is very good at *by*elections.

Anyway, totally obvious HP. Since we are making comparisons - one British one that struck me some time ago is Horatio Bottomley. It is true that GG's career hasn't ended in similar disgrace - yet.

Well, yes. I suppose it would be better to say he’s very, very good at campaigning. Though this time, with a general election imminent, I do think his chances of sticking around aren’t bad.

Can't believe he won again. UK politics is truly beyond parody at this point.

There was effectively no Labour candidate, a genuine black swan event.

He would've won anyway.
