Lula's views on Ukraine are unfortunate but also completely expected if you have even the slightest grasp of Brazilian politics. He still has my full support.

The vote counted is mostly from Brasilia lol. Relax people

Id have thought Brasilia would be for Lula.

Brazil has a reverse education gap, and I believe government workers, at least federal government workers, also lean right? Polar opposite of the states.

Neither Bolsonaro nor Lula seem to care about Ukraine very much. And why should they? They're not in NATO and it's on the other side of the planet. Brazil has about 1,000 bigger fish to fry.

In  Sao Paulo.  It seems Tarcisio de Freitas is ahead of Fernando Haddad 44 to 34 even though Fernando Haddad was expected to win.

Yeah, I think the polls will end up being largely correct with regards to Lula’s percentage (although they’ve significantly underestimated Bolsonaro), but the state and congressional elections are seeming way to the right of the polls.

One wonders if there's a Trump like social trust bias with Bolsonaro voters that would make them harder to reach for polls.

PoderData poll regarding vote transfer in the runoff among those who plan to vote:

Simone Tebet voters
92% Lula
8% Bolsonaro

Ciro Gomes voters
54% Bolsonaro
46% Lula

Blank/Nulls
50% Bolsonaro
50% Lula

Abstentions
55% Lula
45% Bolsonaro

92% of Tebet voters going Lula but Gomes voters split? I would've thought the opposite.

You love freedom so much that you wanna eliminate the people's freedom to choose their governmental leaders themselves?

Make it make sense.

He wants an elite group of corporatists to define freedom for everyone else. After all they're rich so they must know what's best for the rest of us.

Stop derailing the thread with loaded questions and saying "cope". This is not a thread debating whether suspending elections is good or bad. I simply voiced my frustration with the results.

You brought it up. Stop throwing rocks and hiding your hand. Not only are your political views basically satanic, you're also dim and unlikeable. Pick a struggle.
