I guess I'll leave my serious answer.

He's not dropping to 37% after this or anything like that, but I think his strongman image takes a decent hit. Someone else here brought up the parallels to "weak frail Hillary" at the 9/11 service and I think soft supporters aren't gonna wanna support someone in ill health (Not even getting into his emotions/incompetence of COVID & pandemic protocol).

To put it simply, this doesn't benefit him at all. Or downballot Republicans, for that matter

Easily Trump. This will energize his base like never before and with some nasty comments from his detractors all but guaranteed, he'll build up some sympathy.

As if his base weren't energized.

The President, who disregarded COVID & masks on Tuesday in front of tens of millions of debate watchers, was going to hold in-person rallies tomorrow in the country's biggest COVID hotspot while unknowingly carrying COVID.

So tell me again how Trump benefits from this?
