There will not be a pivot, and it's very curious to me how Lake thinks this is a winning message for a state that rejected Trumpism in 2020.

Except that the people embracing Trumpism don't believe Arizona rejected them. They're in a cult and alternate reality, in which their God Emperor won Arizona and the entire election bigly. Just the RINOs like Ducey and Kemp stole it for Brandon.

Can confirm. Many people on alt-right websites actually believe that Trump even won states like California and Washington cause 'I see so many MAGA signs in bum-fck nowhere!' They genuinely live in an alternate reality.

Lol at the Atlas hive-mind declaring Hobbs DOA after one news cycle in September. Meanwhile, all respectable polling has put her at least a few points ahead of Lake and there's absolutely zero scenario where Kelly wins w/o Hobbs imo.

Who actually has watched a non-presidential debate ever? Lolol

No one gives a sh**t. They’re more concerned whether it will rain tomorrow or if Bitcoin will go up.

I routinely watch local debates and even debates in foreign countries and different languages.

Then again, I'm also an Atlas nerd. Tongue

Based move by Cheney.

There's a lot criticize her for, especially her hawkish stances, though you got to give her credit for making the right call here.

If this is where she is going, she should be the next President.

LOL.

No.

Cheney is still sh**t on 95% of issues. Just cause the bar is so low for Republicans doesn't mean we start supporting the barley palatable ones for elected office.

That's rich coming from the guy who thinks probably thinks "ANDREW TATE OWNS DUMB SJW FEMINIST - CRINGE COMPILATION" is the highest form of comedy.

Citizenz was the first person I've put on my ignore list in years. Highly recommend.

You haven't seen the end of Kari Lake, I am warning you right now.
Maybe she'll go on Fox News or something. Who cares?

You'll be singing a different tune when if she is Senator in 2025, Governor in 2027 or President in 2033

Seeing Kari Lake go down brings me right back to the elation and joy of election night and the day after. MAGA is done for.

I am happy that Hobbs won..but just because Hobbs won doesn't necessarily mean she ran a great campaign. Her favorables were meh and she just came across a bland boring candidate..this election for me looked more like it was about Lake and in the end Lake acted bit too crazily and ended up losing. I think Hobbs would have lost if Lake acted just slightly more sanely.

I would like to get any insight from Arizonians here on this race and my assessment.

Watch Hobbs turn out to be an amazing governor with presidential buzz after all this lol.

Sometimes greatness comes from the people you least expect, after all. Harry Truman is Exhibit A, and this was certainly a Truman-esque win on her part.

Her appearance will be made fun of....Kari Lake is more attractive........

Maybe by disgusting cretins like you?

Note to the mods: Anyone who degrades female politico's like that IS a cretin, so I have absolutely zero remorse for the remark. But do what you must.

Afaik, this means a net pickup of +3 governorships for the Dems this cycle, correct?

No? The governorships are net even. Lombardo won, and Hobbs won. Every incumbent other than Sisolak won.

You’re forgetting both Massachusetts and Maryland? But I did forget about Nevada, so I guess it’s +2. Ik they’re not ‘even’ lol I meant net gain.

Do we know how much of Apache and Pima are still out? I think Dems are likely to retain the narrow lead in the Attorney General race if those still have batches out. Possibly flip Superintendent back too.

Attorney General matters in terms of stopping Hamadeh, an election denier, in his tracks.

The Deputy SOS on CNN said there was about 20k out in both Maricopa and Pima each while there was only a 'handful' left in a few other rural counties.

Sweet, sweet galaxy brained take from quacky alt-right social media,

Quote
I've said it before and I'll say it again: The only way I'm ever voting again for anything is if this woman finds a way to win all of this. I love her more than I love Trump because to me, she does all the stuff that I view Trump as doing wrong. I love Trump, but he makes too many errors and wages stupid wars with people he shouldn't be doing that against. Kari, on the other hand, is a silver ing bullet in my mind and to see her "lose" is just too much for me to handle and says too much about our elections. If she loses, I'm done. Given the unlikelihood of her pulling this off, well, I think I'm done with elections entirely.  it all. Let the country burn for all I care.

This is one of the more mild ones. Plenty others, highly upvoted, openly call for violence... Obviously it's not really good for our democracy but I can't really find it within me to care if Trumpkins "lose faith" over their wackjob candidates losing fair and square both at the ballot box and the courtroom over and over. It's good if the would-be brownshirts lose faith and stop voting (although desperate lone wolves now become an ever-present threat... Even if 99/100 are all bark).
