Where is the discussion for the North Carolina U.S House races?

Did AIPAC campaign against the genuinely anti Semitic Mark Robinson?

Of course not, he's pro Israel.

He's also genuinely anti Semitic.

I don't even know if AIPAC has any interest in Gubernatorial races, as there are no foreign policy implications, but if they do Josh Stein is essentially the perfect candidate for them and Robinson is the easiest candidate for him to beat.

Fair point, but Robinson is so overtly anti Semitic that I would have expected AIPAC to say something.

AIPAC isn’t a Jewish lobbying group, they’re an Israeli lobbying group. In 2022 they burned money trying to oust Andy Levin, a Jewish congressman, in favor of Haley Stevens, a Protestant congressman, cause Levin had a record of criticizing Israel’s treatment of Gazans and Palestinians.

As others have said, unless the Governor of North Carolina can benefit Israel I’d be surprised if AIPAC spends any real money on this race.

There are genuine Jewish lobbying groups who I could see throwing money in, but not AIPAC.

I appreciate that (I've been playing dumb(er) somewhat), but for a long term when AIPAC called out an anti Israel government Democrat, AIPAC didn't refer to them as 'anti Israel' but as 'anti Semitic.' Not only that, but seemingly the entire mainstream media parroted AIPAC and joined in in trying to cancel any politician deemed by AIPAC as 'anti Semitic.'

Sorry, I'm not clear about your position--on a scale of sincere to insincere and also anti-Semitic to pro-Semitic, how would you describe Mark Robinson?
Me? I'm totally sincere. Mark Robinson is amti Semitic.

Genuinely?

Mark Robinson has made a series of anti Semitic comments and anti Semitic tropes. He's a loony and hate filled conspiracy theorist, why would you have trouble with this?

Anybody remember Vernon Robinson in 2004 who ran for the U.S House with the slogan "Jesse Helms is back...and this time he's black!"

I think Mark Robinson is even loonier than Vernon Robinson.

Someone on Twitter correctly pointed out that he wouldn't have been able to vote either in the time that women weren't able to vote. It's really delusional to want to go back to a time when you would have had no rights either. Does he think he would have been an exception?

I expect that Mark Robinson self identifies as white.

Has the NC GOP been completely captured by the crazies?

Based on the Ronda McDaniel discussion, I think most Republicans would say that people who believe these things deserve representation too.

See even Republicans support DEI!
