Welcome to the official hub where I will place my various thoughts, statements, and announcements. As you may or may not know, my time in Atlasia dates back to the early 2010s and--to keep things relatively short--this great nation has certainly seen better public servants. Nevertheless, I've been a Governor, a Senator, a Lt. Governor, an Assemblyman, and a candidate for President. I helped bring about the renaming of our great region, along with many other legislative accomplishments, and I am finally ready to return to the public eye. What will my future hold? Well, that is certainly out of my hands...but stay tuned for further developments. I will happily answer questions or engage in polite discussion.

Important Announcement from R2D2 (L-ME)

Folks,

When I opened this office just about a week ago, I did so with plans to run for office at some point in the future. I was not sure of the timetable, nor was I sure of what office I would seek, but often times, our paths are illuminated for us and we must follow them when the time comes to do so.

With the recent news that an elected Lincoln Councilor failed to be sworn in and thus had been recalled, I was given an opportunity to rejoin the legislative body that I had previously worked in, at home in my beloved Lincoln Region.

I could not pass up this opportunity.

That is why I will be running to fill the vacant seat in the Lincoln Council. I will be sharing further information and formally declaring shortly, but I wanted you all to be the first to know.

Lincoln, I'm home. Let's work together.

Thank you for gathering on such short notice.

As I have already announced, today is a new chapter in my personal journey, but more importantly in the journey of our region. With my campaign for Lincoln Council comes a steadfast promise that I have delivered on time and time again throughout my career in Atlasian politics--I will be active, accessible, and accountable.

One of the many problems our region faces is an activity crisis that threatens the stability of our region. Personally, I see both sides of the argument in regards to the Philadelphia Plan, though I believe that desperate times call for desperate measures and we must try anything and everything to ensure we continue to foster a culture of activity.

While I believe it is pivotal to take action to represent the working class and poor citizens of Lincoln in our council above all, we cannot fight for the impoverished with an inactive legislature.

The theme of this campaign is Activity. Activity. Activity. say it til your throat hurts--I know I will.

I want to thank those who have extended their support--friends new and old--I value your voice and I look forward to re-engaging after a relaxing retirement.

It is time to bring this fight from the coast here in beautiful New England to the heartlands of the Mid-Atlantic, all the way out to our brothers and sisters in the Midwest--this is a region-wide initiative to restore Lincoln.

I hope you'll join me, and I would be honored to earn your support ahead of the special election next weekend.

Lincoln Council Candidate R2D2 releases Working Class Agenda ahead of this weekend's Special Election

Lincoln Council Candidate R2D2 released a list of priorities he will seek to tackle if elected. These priorities are as follows:

• A region-wide rent control to cap rents in Lincoln based on tenant income
• A ban on payday loan services throughout the region
• A plan to mandate a shorter work week to ease the burden on working class Lincolnites
• A pilot program to create a pathway towards region-wide Universal Basic Income
• A region-wide jobs guarantee for all Lincolnites
• A plan to prioritize and incentivize green jobs in Lincoln

In addition to the policy priorities, R2D2 had this to say on his agenda:

"It is absolutely vital that we bring Lincoln workers into the fold when discussing how to move the region forward; no progress can be made as a region without fighting for working class interests and ensuring a fairer economy. We must especially prioritize the needs of black and brown workers, as well as women, non-binary, trans, and gender non-conforming workers. We will make this region fairer and more equitable. I ask Lincoln's elected leadership to join me in enacting these plans to ensure our workers are given the highest possible standard of living in Atlasia."
