Brian Kelly should not have left Notre Dame.

LSU (I'm not sure why the line is so close. LSU should crush Florida State in my opinion.)

Yes, yes, you were right and I was wrong.

Georgia Tech just hanging around against #4 Clemson. It's currently 17-10 Clemson, as the third quarter reaches it's conclusion.

Dabo Swinney has signed an extension that will keep him at Clemson through 2031.

I should probably point out that at first glance next week doesn't look great either, schedule wise.

Miami (FL)/Texas A&M is far and away the best game on the schedule.

Louisville less than ten minutes away from a modest upset, as they lead UCF 20-14.

In tonight's other game (not on the pick'em), Boise State is off to a good start, leading New Mexico 10-0 at halftime.

Boise State entered that game as seventeen point favorites.

The old UCF, back when Scott Frost was coaching the team, would have beaten Louisville on their way to claiming a National Title.

It's still early, but Vanderbilt leads #23 Wake Forest 3-0.

We've got a couple of plausible upsets right now.

First, #1 Alabama and Texas are tied at 10 right now, late in the second quarter. Remember, Alabama entered this game as 21.5 point favorites.

Also, Duke leads Northwestern 21-7 late in the second quarter. Northwestern entered this game as 10 point favorites.

If Alabama loses to an unranked team for the second year in a row, then it's probably time for Nick Saban to retire.

One quarter to go in Austin. It's still 13-10 Texas.

Texas hits a 49 yard field goal to take a 19-17 lead, but did they leave too much time on the clock?

Umm, is there something in the water in the SEC West?

Texas Tech takes down #25 Houston 33-30, and the fans storm the field.

It's still early, but Georgia Southern is beating Nebraska 14-7.

Will Scott Frost be fired if Nebraska loses this one?

If they do lose, you might finally be right on one of those predictions. Smiley

I seem to recall eventually getting Dan Mullen's firing right, and I know I predicted Lincoln Riley getting hired at Oklahoma successfully.

What on earth is wrong with the SEC West? San Jose State leads Auburn 10-7 at halftime.

I told you all, Scott Frost would get fired this week.

My guesses as to Scott Frost's eventual replacement as Nebraska Head Coach.

Baylor Head Coach Dave Aranda
Coastal Carolina Head Coach Jamey Chadwell
Former Florida Head Coach Dan Mullen
Alabama Offensive Coordinator Bill O'Brien

Why would Aranda go from Baylor where he is a hero (even if they fall out of the top 25) to Nebraska where the expectation is 10+ win seasons despite the reality these days?

Nebraska's still a more prestigious program, they play in a better conference (especially since the Big Twelve is losing Texas and Oklahoma), which will be great for recruiting, and he'd be in the weaker division in said conference. Division titles at Nebraska are still possible.

I would actually argue it's even better for Baylor that TX and OU are leaving the conference (mainly OU) because it makes it much easier to win the conference. Especially with the upcoming top 12 playoff where you clinch a spot by being one of the best 6 conference winners.

Houston and Cincinnati aren't exactly pushovers and should be able to regularly contend for Big Twelve titles. For that matter, so should TCU, now that Texas and Oklahoma are gone.

Florida State (is Florida State back? Last week's win over LSU was a very good omen)

Air Force

Oklahoma (Why is this here? Nebraska was already heavy underdogs, and their situation is even worse after firing Scott Frost. I would have gone with Old Dominion at Virginia instead.)

Army

Purdue (ACC and Big Ten mediocrities go at it. I am so excited./s)

Cincinnati (This may be a hangover game for the Bearcats after seeing the Playoff chances (and possibly their New Year's Six chances as well) go up in flames, but Miami (OH) just isn't on their level)

Indiana (Indiana's bad, but Western Kentucky isn't a good team either. But then again, Nebraska just lost to Georgia Southern...)

Notre Dame (California is horrible, and I don't think the Fighting Irish will lose to two bad teams in a row).

North Texas

Oregon (The PAC-12's playoff chances can be revived from the dead if Oregon wins this one)

Penn State (The SEC West looked horrible last week, though Auburn did at least beat San Jose State. Texas A&M and LSU weren't so lucky.)

Vanderbilt

Appalachian State

Kansas (My Upset pick of the day, Kansas, like Kentucky, will prove it is not just a basketball school)

Mississippi State (honoring our lone Mississippi State homer with this pick, despite getting burned doing that week one with Illinois)

Memphis

NC State

Michigan

SMU

UCF

Louisana

Miami (FL) (Upset pick #2) (Is Miami back? We'll find out with this game.)

USC

Bruh...you talk about Nebraska still being prestigious but ignore the fact that this used to be a huge rivalry? Sad!

We've ignored huge rivalry games before. In fact, we ignore the Egg Bowl every year, and that's usually more competitive than this game will be.
