I have a bad habit of doing that.

With my vote Rove leads 3-1. I don't quite understand why people her prefer Communist persecution to Republican freedom.

Karl Marx never tried to smear an opponent by claiming he "fathered an illegitimate black child" or placed a bug in a candidate's office, then tried to blame it on the opponent.

Oh no he never did anything like that. His beliefs only led to the murder of hundreds of millions people, so I guess your right, I change my vote to Marx!

That was hardly his intentions. It's like blaming Jesus for the Crusades.

No, it's more like blaming Hitler for neo-Nazis.

His intention was a bloody class revolution in which the upper classes would be slaughtered. Those things happened, but the perfect state he so foolishly envisioned never came about. It can't come about. At best he belonged in a mental institution.

And the left in all it's forms still hasn't gotten over the logical fallacies of a dialectic- any dialectic. Read Steven Jay Gould on the Panglossian Paradigm, it applies to politics too. This failure leads to this Leftist moaning that whenever a rightist is on power or a country moves right or a rightist goal is accomplished, the world has moved backward. I.e., Thatcher, Netanyahu, or Sarko privatizes govt monopolies, increasing personal freedoms and hugely boosting an economy, and we are moving backwards. Please.

Marx; I disagree with a lot of his theories, but his analysis of Late C19th Capitalism is excellent.

Anyone here ever read anything by Marx?
Some of his political proposals were hardly far left.

Rove.

Marx, a possibly bipolar likely schizophrenic, but definitely suffering from severe depression and apathy who bummed off his friends and had delusions of grandieur and who proposed an inherently flawed economic theory bent on destroying society as we know it because he felt alienated by it? Yeah, baby, that's our champion! LOL.

Karl Marx is nothing more than a Utopian Dreamer, and he is the founder of the great evil of Communism.

Marx would be fine with a GOP congress.

Rove+GOP Congress, however = not good.
