Maybe. One thing to consider is that with a Mormon Democratic nominee, there is likely to be a big anti-Mormon push among conservative activists (expect Fox News to run a lot of "informational" pieces on LDS history...). Such a phenomenon would be more likely to flip Utah than the actual fact of the Democrat's LDS identity... if that makes sense.
