Graf Orlock
Megadeth

I of course vote for Graf Orlock.

BTW I made it about 80 seconds into that Megadeth video before I couldn't stand it anymore and had to shut it off, those vocals, ugh....

It's sad you are so adverse to the promises of Megadeth, my son.
It's however, beyond awesome that you listen to the ecstacy known as Graf Orlock.

As much as I love Megadeth, Graf Orlock is like the cure for cancer.
So yeah: Graf Orlock

Graf Orlock easily because they actually write funny and intelligent lyrics and are much more intense.

Although, as a big My Bloody Valentine fan, maybe I shouldn't talk. Tongue

You'd probably like the idea behind Graf Orlock, they describe themselves as "cinemagrind". Basically of their songs have some sort of movie sample in them (as you can hear in that clip) and their lyrics often refer to the movie. They have songs about Quato's rebellio, fighting Skynet and pissing on The Dude's rug.

The lyrical issue you raise reflects your difference in attitude from that of headbangers. The cornerstone of metal vocalization is that lyrics are generally of minimal importance & it is the effect of delivery that counts. There are bands (The Melvins, Children Of Bodom, maybe others) who regularly perform songs with nonsense lyrics.

I don't understand how someone who listens to METAL can actually say Graf Orlock is just noise.

Metal emphasizes virtuosity & skillful instrumentation in a way that punk does not. The converse of your statement makes much more sense than the statement itself.

They are a music group? I have always wondered who was that Bodom who seemed to have so many child in my school, because they were wearing a tee-shirt of them.

Hahaha, yeah they're a Finnish melodic death metal band. Nice to see I'm not the only one who goes to school with a substantial proportion of headbangers.
