Mark Dayton would win in a walk, Coleman clearly damaged himself by drawing out the election process in Minnesota.  Minnesota is clearly a secular state now and with that the next governor will be a Democrat.

Never assume that a Democrat will win in Minnesota. The DFL has a tendency to pick terrible candidates for Governor, and they have to fight both the Republican and whoever the Independence Party puts up to suck votes away.
