Fascinating.

Thanks for the data.

The more the Republican voters know about Rubio, the more they like him.

It's not the only possible interpretation though, since the causality could be reversed. Everyone in Florida knows about Crist, but of course a Rubio supporter must have heard of Rubio and it is also likely that people who don't like Crist to begin with are more likely to gather information about other candidates.

Exactly.  Would you say "the more voters know about Cynthia McKinney, the more they like her" using similar data?  Probably going to be true of virtually any low-recognition candidate, especially those who appeal to activists/the base.

Assuming the Crist-Rubio race closes somewhat, it'll be interesting when polls start doing head-to-head match-ups between the Democratic candidates vs. Crist and vs. Rubio instead of just Crist. It'll be even more interesting to see what effect that has on the GOP primary race. Could be a real momentum killer for Rubio I suspect.

You're lucky, then, that Crist will win the primary.

Chances are that he will. I really want him to win actually, Crist is an actually likeable Republican.

I do like Charlie. I went to the Univ. of Florida and I'm a moderate republican.  He's perfect for the demographics of FL.

That was 5 years ago.  In Florida, 5 years is a long time with all those senior citizen voters dying off/moving in.
