Yes/PiT
While it might not be the proper "legal" thing to do, this is only a fantasy government. With so many close votes, it's the only reasonable thing to do. If Leif ends up winning, many PiT supporters will be very upset, and the same for Leif supporters if PiT ends. There could even be a boycott of the game from one side, which would destroy the fun of Atlasia. Giving both candidates another shot to Atlasians to vote for them, properly, is the best way to go, in my opinion.
(It would be great if more people would comment their thoughts, instead of just voting)

That's a terrible argument, Bayh.

I supported PiT and would support a runoff if it's legal, but if we use the excuse "it's only a fantasy game!" to defend it now, we are setting dangerous precedent for the future.

No/PiT. There isn't really a legal precedent for this. If you must bring it to court, so be it.

I'm just saying, if half of the voters (actually, more than half) are upset, and some of them quit being active in Atlasia, which there is a possibility of happening, that would really damage Atlasia.

No/Lief

He is democratically elected. I don't remember somebody calling for a runoff after 2000 presidential election. Especially from the conservatives...

I agree with Duke on this.

I would rather see what the court has to say first. I'm not exactly sure whether a runoff would be tremendously healthy for the game, as turnout would be pretty depressed from its record level a week ago. That said, where are all the court cases? Isn't there a time limit for when they can be presented?

I'm still trying to figure out how much of a case there is to be made. The statute of limitations expires in about three days.

I voted yes, but in retrospect I agree with Purple State.  We need a court ruling.

PiT- you're kidding us, right?  You're still wondering how much of a case there is?  There are at least three or four legal questions in this election, and I think Earl made his rulings with the expectation that it would be challenged.

Some questions seem bigger than others after a close examination of the law. I wanted to see what seemed most quantifiable as an error on Earl's part.

Well, hmmmm, I'm a litttle surprised at the direction you've actually decided to take...but, your call I guess.
