Per Huffington post from what I hear:

1. Dismissal of Khamenei for not being a fair leader
2. Dismissal of Ahmadinejad for his illegal acts
3. Temporary appointment of Ayatollah Montazeri as the Supreme Leader
4. Recognition of Mousavi as the President
5. Forming the Cabinet by Mousavi to prepare for revising the Constitution
6. unconditional and immediate release of all political prisoners
7. Dissolution of all organs of repression, public or secret

If that actually happens, the regime is FINISHED. If it gives in so much to the demands that they sack the Supreme Leader...

That would be wonderful, but unlikely to happen. Can't give up hope, though.

Well, good luck with that. I wish they could have found somebody to the Left of this Mousavi character but oh well...

Nah, private industry is the way to go. Wink

I'm sorry to say this, but I'm going to have to see it from some more media sources. Like the BBC or at least several American ones. Ican't make assumptions of the Huffington Post.

Getting any 1 of these would be a major victory.

Mousavi is to the right of Ahmadinejad.

Ahmadinejad's government controls on the economy might just make him the most left-wing President Iran has had.

EDIT:  Where on Huff Post is this?

Per Huffington post from what I hear:

3. Temporary appointment of Ayatollah Montazeri as the Supreme Leader

If that actually happens, the regime is FINISHED. If it gives in so much to the demands that they sack the Supreme Leader...

I didn't realize that Ayatollah Montazeri was still among the living.  He seems to have fallen off the face of the Earth since the late 80s.

As far as "If that actually happens, the regime is finished," well, that's why it won't happen.  Sad

Frankly, I'd prefer a Ukraine-style revote.

Well, good luck with that. I wish they could have found somebody to the Left of this Mousavi character but oh well...

Mousavi is to the right of Ahmadinejad.

Roll Eyes

Can we kill this left-right thing, please?

My thoughts exactly.

Aye.....might as well ask them to dig their own graves and tie their own nooses....noosi?  noosen?

"Nooses," though I'd have personally preferred "nice".

He's currently 87 years old and living in Qom.
