In The Democrat Primaries Democrat Joesph Biden Won the Democrat nomination barely as he spun a scandal on his main opponent, Fmr Sen. John Edwards. He won 38 states and Guam. Biden clinged victory after Edwards admitted having a affair with another woman. Edwards conceded and walked off the stage. Biden has a large variety of people to pick as Veep.

On the Republican side it was a 7 man fight. Between Giuliani ,McCain , Romney , Huckabee, F. Thompson, Norm Coleman, and Kay Bailey Hutchinson.

On June 26th Senator from Texas Kay Bailey Hutchinson clinched the Nomination in a huge upset. Hutchinson gave a memorable speech and claimed the GOP will win in November. Hutchinson has begun her search for Vice-President. She  could win big ,as her Campaign Manager is fmr Bush advisor Karl Rove.

Polls for July 2008 :

Hutchinson : 43%
Biden : 39%
Undecided : 18%

The darker the shade ,the more solid a lead a candidate has. Blue is Republican ,Red  is Democrat.

FOX News released a list of potential Biden Veep Picks  :

Gov. Ed Rendell

Senator and fmr Pres. Contender Hillary Clinton

Congressman Dan Boren

Congressman Chet Edwards

Senator Evan Bayh

Senator Chuck Hagel

Speaker Nancy Pelosi

FOX also released a potential VP list for Hutchinson :

Fmr Mayor and Fmr Pres. Contender Rudy Giuliani

Retiring Senator  and fmr pres. Contender Norm Coleman

Fmr Gov. And Fmr Pres. Contender Mitt Romney

So who will they  pick ? Who will win ?

We'll be back with more

(I'll update this after I eat dinner)

Nice picture of Hillary! Smiley
But wait, if this was 2008, how could Edwards be Biden's main opponent? What about Clinton, Obama, and Richardson?

Looks like Biden isn't doing so well in the polls against KBH.

It is late July ,many are speculating Biden will announce his VP soon. It would certainly help as Hutchinson is starting to take very big leads in Florida and Nevada. Biden  is seen many times this month with Ed Rendell and Hillary Clinton. Those two are considered Biden's top picks. While Sen. KBH has been holding meetings with Fmr Mayor Rudy Giuliani  and Retiring Sen. Norm Coleman. Many consider Coleman would be a  bold ,yet unoriginal pick. Minnesota has trended republican considerably since 2000.

On July 30th , Norm Coleman knocks himself out of  the VP Process ,as he announces he will run for his senate seat. Coleman's return to the senate race ,make many republicans there happy. As in  the past 2 weeks it has become apparent that the Democrat Nominee , Al  Franken ,is a partisan hack and has a lot of skeletons in his closet. KBH is now looking at Giuliani ,Romney and  maybe Gov. Sarah Palin of AK. But it's unlikely Palin will be picked. Or vetted.

Biden announces he will email his supporters on Aug 10th  about his VP Pick.

August Polls :

KBH :  46%

Biden : 43%
Undecided : 11%

FOX and CNN released a top 3 short list For Biden's VP :

1) Gov. Ed Rendell

2) Sen. Hillary Clinton

3) Rep. Dan Boren

And for Kay Bailey Hutchinson :

1) Fmr Gov. Mitt  Romney

2) Fmr. Mayor Rudy Giuliani

3) Gov. Sarah Palin *** Shocker. Many shocked that this unknown Governor was vetted

Who will the candidates pick? Why? And will they benefit ,or lose points?

BREAKING NEWS ALERT : GOV OF PA CALLS CLINTON A UNHOLY WORD
Gov. Rendell ,called Hillary Clinton a wh*** today on microphone, he thought the mic was off. But it wasn't a crowd of 12,000 heard him make fun of the Democrat Senator. Rendell was on Biden's top 3 list for VP. Biden denounced Rendell and claimed Rendell was not even close to being picked ,and made it worse for himself today.

KBH defended Hillary and attacked Rendell claling him insensitive and apparently a sore loser.

August 10th 2008 : Joe Biden picks his Vice-Presidential Nominee!!!
Joe Biden sent millions of emails to many supporters announcing  his Vice-Presidential Nominee.

Email :

"Dear ,Supporter

The Biden for a Better Future campaign has picked  a VP Nominee  , this person is qualified and very experienced for the job "

Congrats to  :

CHUCK HAGEL OF NEBRASKA!!!!!!!!!!
This is huge news!!!!!

The G.O.P Senator had switched parties last night ,according to family members.

Hagel called Biden and told him he was honored to be accepted.

Republicans are mortified, this is lethal blow to the GOP who repeatedly abused Hagel because he is a moderate. Hagel is getting revenge.

Polls :

Biden : 48%
Hutchinson : 41%
Undecided : 11%

DEMOCRAT CONVENTION 2008 : (AUG 25-AUG 28)

The Democrat Convention was a huge success ,based in Denver ,CO.

Some major speakers were :

Fmr Gov. Mark Warner (D-VA)
Sen. John Warner (R-VA)
Gov. Bill Ritter (D0CO)
Sen. Ken Salazar (D-CO)
Democrat Senate Nominee Al Franken (D-MN)
Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL)
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY)
Gov. Bill Richardson (D-NM)

Joe Biden gave a amazing speech  promising to change the way of the government and denouncing republican policies. He excited the base and made no errors or stupid gafts. He was speaking well and clear.

Chuck Hagel went straight to bashing republicans and republican leadership. Well-Received speech.

But there two bad occurences, two Blue Dog Democrats , Stephanie Herseth (D-SD) and  Gov. Bredesen (D-TN) got into a argument with Biden and they walked out of the stadium and denounced their support for Biden this election. This weakened Biden in states Hagel was helping him in (SD ,MT, and NE)

But otherwise the Convention was really good and very expected.

Polls :

Biden : 48%
Hutchinson : 37%
Undecided : 15%

G.O.P CONVENTION 2008 : ST.PAUL , MN AUG 30-SEPT 3

The convention was a major success and might be considered a major turning point in the election. KBH  gave a amazing and tearful speech on how national security and economic responsibility are very important to make America safe and sound.

Mitt Romney ** Rising star
Joe Lieberman ** officially endorses her.
Stephanie Herseth ** Protest of Biden

Mary Bono Mack
Norm Coleman ** Prime Speaker
Tim Pawlenty ** Rising star
Michelle Bachmann
Bobby Jindal ** Rising star
John & Cindy McCain
Mike Huckabee

Laura and George W. Bush

The convention really helped KBH in midweatern states and in MN.

Undecided : 11%

Sept 4-Sept 11

KBH campaigns mainly in MN ,IA, OH and NV. KBH  tryed to paint Biden as a Gaft machine ,but every time she said that Democrats just used Biden's well-given , and clear speech at the Democrat Convention. Graham campaigns hard in trying to seal VA up for KBH. The GOP Ticket had made $5,788,567 this month in funds.

Biden and Hagel went across the Mid-West and West coast and campaigned there hard. Biden tryed to paint KBH as a GOP Hack and a 3rd term of Bush. It would've worked if Bush's approvals didn't see massive rises this week after 6 terrorists leaders were killed and  the Government had gotten very good tips on where Bin Laden may be hiding.

This not only gave KBH a major boost it also gave many republicans boosts in senate races.

Coleman lead 58-34  in his race. And Lizzy Dole was leading in the polls again.

Polls :

KBH : 51%
Biden : 42%
Undecided : 7%

Both  nominees went to NYC to honor those innocent who died on 9/11.
