If these are  representative of the districts then those are really bad numbers for Moran and McCauliffe.

Deeds is dominating Arlington with 3/52 precincts in. That's not good news for the other two.

This looks close to being over. The Lt. Gov race definitely is.

324 precints:

Deeds - 20,797 (53%)
McAuliffe - 9,289 (24%)
Moran - 9,183 (23%)

Much too early to call, since we've still got the urban areas.

On the other hand, Deeds won Chesterfield County handily -- a county that's 1/3 black. McAuliffe needs black voters to win.

Nothing from Richmond but Deeds seems to be doing very well in NOVA and Virginia Beach.

Also, Cilizza said that McAuliffe needed to win big at Norfolk in order to have a shot, but right now he is in a stalemate with Deeds.

Nearly 25% of the vote is in, and Deeds still has more than 50% of ballots cast.

I will declare victory when 50% of the vote is in, and it still shows Deeds with a commanding lead over his rivals.

I am trying desperately to avoid 'counting my chickens before they hatch'...

I guess Deeds will end up in the 40s, possibly high 40s, after all.

Terry's turnout operation turned out to be a paper tiger.
