I guess that's Wall Street's punishment for destroying the global economy, getting $3 trillion of taxpayer money.  That's probably more than universal health care, a manned mission to Mars, and energy independence combined would have cost. If you're too big to fail, you're too big to exist.

Uh, Jfern, things are even worse than you to realize.

TARP is basically a program to finance swindlers.

There's little oversight.
