Nice strawman attack. An Israeli attack has a good chance of failing (or not delay the Iranian nuclear project for a long time), with the potential to bring many of the disasters described above, without any of the benefits. And strange how everybody forgets about the large stockpile of Israeli nuclear weapons, with the means to deliver them to Iran. The Iranian leaders haven't shown suicidal tendencies before and it's unlikely they will do so in the future.
And that is easy to say not living in Tel Aviv.
(and why would they do it if it had no likely benefit, it's not like this would be an easy mission and there may very well be consequences as you mentioned. It wouldn't make any sense if they didn't think there was a likelyhood of it accomplishing some goals.)
(...unless it is just sabre rattling, in which case who cares? There is so much sabre rattling in that region that it doesn't even get reported anymore when certain nations make violent threats to other certain nations.)
