Barack. Even if he's Bush-levels of ineptitude, I will not see this country turned into a theocracty.

I've found Obama to be pretty middling so far, but there are things far worse than middling.

You must really hate America. It's scary that some Americans actually believe Palin should be the most powerful person in the world.

The thought of her as the second in command was bad enough.

Classic Moderate Hero

Curiosity wins:  What makes that (middling > thoughtless and unqualified) a "Moderate Hero" position?  Is it not one you hold (questions of whether those descriptions fit this situation or not aside)?

I can and will pretend otherwise, but I'll almost certainly end up being a hack and voting to re-elect the President. Especially in this scenario.

No, I have scarier thoughts - Rick Santorum as the most powerful person in the world.

I've found Obama to be pretty middling so far, but there are things far worse than middling.

It's Moderate Hero because you basically appease every sort of popular position out there. You're not that pleased with Obama (Yay Republicans!) but there are worse things out there (Yay Democrats/Most of America dislikes Palin now!)

I'm so sorry that Sarah Palin is too thoughtless for you, Alcon. I know you think you're smarter and with that insane ego, you'd probably wager that you're more qualified. No use arguing with that arrogance.

Look, it's not very arrogant to think you're more qualified than Sarah Palin Smiley
