I know I originally thought this was alright a couple of weeks ago.

But I guess I have to wonder now....why really?

I don't think there's really any reason to keep us from passing amendments, especially as the Constitutional Convention could take several weeks or months, and during that time, we shouldn't really limit our abilities.

Besides that, there is an amendment that Purple State and I agreed on, and that I have introduced regarding dual office holding.

This is pointless and not needed. There's no reason we can't pass constitutional amendments.

Motion to table.

As Franzl said, the motion to table passes.  I hope to have more bills off the groud tomorrow night.  I need sleep and then I work all day long tomorrow.  Weekends are the worst time for me in terms of getting online.
