Imagine France followed  a "classic" political path, without Speedy and Vengeful Sarko and the other sectarian mad girl.

Alain Juppé (UMP, "the best of us" as Chirac declared in 2002) and Dominique Strauss-Kahn (PS) are in the 2nd round.

Juppé was totally ridiculed after his catastrophical term as Prime Minister, whereas Strauss-Kahn is see as a competent but also progressive candidate who could effectively fight against the "fracture sociale".
