Definitely Bryan.  The first great true man of the people, and despite his Scopes Monkey reputation, he was actually pretty forward-thinking for his time in that he was a Day-Age Creationist and not a Young Earth.

I voted Dukakis, but I'd just like to say one thing about Bryan: His speech for the Anti-Imperialist League attacking the annexation of the Phillipines is an excellent summary of why America is not and should not be an imperialist power.

Soulty's drunk again. Cry

I voted for Dukakis, but I'm frankly disappointed in our final two candidates.

My sentiments, too.  I have great respect for Bryan, aside from the "useful idiot" role he played in the Scopes Trial.  And at the end of the day, while his opposition to the teaching of evolution was dead wrong...his prime motivation was right.  He worried that scientific Darwinism would lead to social Darwinism.  I don't believe it has.  But I can't deny the reality that social Darwinism is alive and well today...and wholly evil.
