Lunar's political positions tend to be a little more "extreme", probably because he is a young. I fail to see much of a difference here beyond that (except their party registrations obviously). Lunar will probably be Torie in ten years.

This final round also shows how popular libertarianism is with the kids, which is a little scary, even if it's moderate libertarianism.

Well, I also could have just said ''white kids''.

Lunar.  He's as close as I have to an ideological clone, even if he is a bit more extreme about some things (see prostitution).

Yet another poll to stroke that massive ego.

Next time, let's do a poll between God, Puppies, Ice Cream and Lunar and watch Lunar only get 60%! That ought to bring him back down to Earth.

You understand this poll is a result of the results of previous polls, right?

Anyway, I vote Torie, even though I would have no problem endorsing Lunar in most cases.

So the election comes down to a DINO and a RINO.

...

I mean, I like both of them a lot, but they're pretty much exactly the same.

Just goes to show that the majority of posters on this forum are pretty far out in left field.

Lunar is just a socialist who tries to conceal his socialism by claiming that he is actually a libertarian (in the luminescent future).

What on earth would lead one to conclude that Lunar is a closet socialist I wonder?

Rarely, in a democracy, are we treated to one deserving candidate for an office, let alone two.

I won't say how I voted... secret ballot.

Well, he probably doesn't favor a ruthless crackdown on "socialist" immigrants, for one.

After much thought, Lunar. After being screwed over by a munchkin from Orange County, I need to show solidarity with my fellow NorCalers.

Torie would be an obviously superior leader of any kind.

I hate these polls though, as I've said before,

You really ought to follow his posts!

He tried to tell everyone that every economist favored the stimulous bill.  Bono (a real libertarian) corrected him.

He also opined that he regreted that spending in the so-called "stimulus" bill for public works was inadequate, by an order of magnitude!

He went on in another thread to state that they only reasons Republicans in Congress were opposing the so-called stimulus bill was because it was being pushed by Democrats.

These are three recent postings by Lunar.

Now, once upon a time he was a pretty good guy, then in 2008 he turned into an Obamaniac.

I seem to recall plenty of Republican love for Bush-backed spending bills.

Ugh.  Blech.  Liberal Democrat or socially liberal Republican.  I guess Torie because at least he doesn't beleive in stealing (taxation).
