Sam is such a remarkably smart guy, I am sorely tempted to vote for him.  Verily's probably come closest to mine in terms of being progressive or liberal...though as an Indie, he's not there all the way of course.

I really have to go with Andrew, primarily because I've come to know him well through PM and his posts.  He is a man of high integrity, deep compassion and is quite wise.  I trust him.  As long as he promises not to make Haggis the national food of the U.S., I think I'd be happy.

I could see myself voting for all 3 either of the candidates that aren't disgusting pieces of sh*t actually....but afleitch narrowly beats Verily for my vote.

I guess I'll vote for myself, but I have no objections whatsoever to supporting Andrew (and was tempted to vote for him just to make this cleaner... but looking at the results before voting felt like cheating).

Question. should I move the winner of this one on to a general election, or should there be a runoff runoff? I'm leaning towards the former but I think both have their merits.

A runoff, runoff would be nice, but the voting process is rather drawn out, and the downside is that folks might lose interest.

I agree. It's nice to get a winner without too much hassle.
