Well, Guido Westerwelle was in the wrong party for this anyway. Maybe it's a setback for Wowereit... but at least he could still become the world's first male homosexual head of government.

To bad they're going to have to go back to fishing, which I believe is presently their only economy up there.

IIIRC, the new thingee called Citizen's Movement is the swing vote in EU stuff. Anti-EU and pro-EU have roughly the same number of seats.

Assuming the vote is along party lines, anyway. Johanna has suggested that she can convince some Left-Greens, and Independence has not always been universally steadfast in its opposition.

Also, Citizen's Movement is pro-EU; I commented elsewhere that they had the balance of power but didn't know their position, then finally found it.
