Is the Native American population even growing faster than it is being diluted?  I think asymptotically the odds of a Native American becoming president approaches 0 while an Asian-Indian becoming president approaches 1

Beware the Black Swan.

What calculator did you use to calculate that? The TI-2012 (Jindal Edition)?

The calculator that notes the pathways into politics (businessmen and law school) and can look at an increasing number of South Asian students and businessmen every year.  In addition, I've seen a increasing number of South Asians in high-profile races and a decreasing number of Native Americans.

As noted, Blago is in trouble significantly because he dealings with Indian political power brokers in Chicago.

when you put it that way, i'd gather that the limit going to infinity would be at higher than one.

what is the population growth rate among Native Americans?

It's quite high. What that means when translated across the diversity of Native American respondents to the Census, including many people who cite more than one race in their ancestry, I don't know.

Calvin Coolidge was part Native American.

And as for Vice Presidents, Charles Curtis.

Wasn't Coolidge also part-black?

You are thinking of Harding, but Coolidge's family claimed Amerindian ancestry and I think Curtis's grandmother was an enrolled tribe member.

We have yet to have:

1. A female President

2. A Jewish President

3. A Polish-American President

4. A President of largely Scandinavian origin

5. A Latino President

6. An Italian-American President

7. A Chinese-American President

8. A Japanese-American President

... and we barely got ONE Irish Catholic President.

We've also have yet to have an openly atheist or non-religious Senator, let alone president, which is crazy disproportionate given to their overall percentage of the population, a bigger minority than most of those items on your list.
