(This is not one of those  "lets pick two idiots and see who wins" polls.  These are two good guy who I really like.  Ebowed is my pick, obviously, for political reasons.  But Jedi's a cool guy.  Enjoy...)

Con protestants don't like catholics so it'd be alot closer than that. I think the map would look like Kerry's but with PA, WI, MI all going GOP.

If it was 1988 I'd be inclined to believe you but we're now on the downslope of a religious revival as opposed to the upslope so he'd do better than you'd think.

in 2007 93% of Americans said they would vote for a Catholic for president.  more said they wouldn't consider an atheist (48%) than said they would (46%).
